It’s been a quiet week on the pages of Mana Obscura. There’s normally an update here at least twice a week, but the last post was nearly ten days ago. Ten days. That’s over a week, in case you’re counting.
So what’s been happening to keep me away from blogging for the last ten days? Well, a number of projects have been in the works which have been eating up my time. The first (and possibly the biggest) one is that The Obscurecast has moved to a new home. Feel free to check it out at it’s new location, subscribe to the feed and share your thoughts. All the original episodes will still be on both sites to preserve links, but all new episodes will only be on the new site. If you haven’t checked it out, there’s two more waiting for you to download!
We made the move to separate the two partly because we got a ton of feedback from subscribers saying that they would prefer them that way. A ton of technical jiggery-pokery was tried before we finally settled on on the option of two sites. They may look very similar at the moment, but that’s likely to change in time. Watch this space.
Something that’s also been chewing away at my time is planning for Blizzcon Weekend. There’s a ton of special stuff planned, and I’m going to be helping out Pewter from The ‘mental Shaman and Medros from All Things Azeroth in providing live coverage of the event. It’s going to involve some late nights, but fingers crossed it’ll be worth listening to if you can’t catch the live stream.
So where does that leave Mana Obscura? There’s some new posts in the works which should start emerging this week. I’m hoping to have some further guides and analysis of life in 4.0 soon. I’m also running a fair few Cataclysm heroics in order to start building up guides for mages (and other ranged DPS classes). You’ll start to see these emerge from next week.
Of course, if there’s anything you’d like to hear more about then feel free to ask. The spellbook is always open.
